This award was created to recognise the supplier with the largest percentage increase in biochemical citations over the past year. It was been designed to recognise suppliers with a smaller citation share who might be about to take off in this market in a big way.

This award was made by comparing citations from the previous year against the year before that. To be eligible for this category the supplier had to have at least ten citations in the previous year.
