Collecting citations manually is a time-consuming and laborious process. However, product citations are compelling trust-indicators for scientists.

Recognising the importance of showing this reagent performance data, GeneTex installed our Citation Widget on their webpages.
To add that extra value for researchers, GeneTex opted for a widget which shows annotated product citations, published images and infographics.
The scientific relevance of data on the widget is ensured by cropping images to the panel of interest, meaning scientists can immediately evaluate the right information, and showing annotations such as reactivity, research area and application that directly reference how the product was used.
They chose our widget for a number of reasons, including CiteAb’s established reputation as a trusted and scholarly research antibody reference source. This was exemplified to them by the widget’s user-friendly organisation that streamlines access to essential reagent-related information.

The most important feature of the widget for GeneTex was its functionality in linking researchers to data and published literature that actually utilised the specific reagent for a particular application(s). This is of immense importance to a scientist who is trying to determine if a selected reagent will help them address their own research objectives.
