Solutions to help scientists select, purchase and manage bioreagents have relied heavily on manual data entry by researchers and purchasing managers; often resulted in increased costs and downstream purchasing and compliance challenges and have not always ensured data privacy.

JAGGAER and CiteAb partnered together to create a completely novel integration to fill this gap in the market. This combined CiteAb’s expertise in quality life science data curation and search functionality with JAGGAER’s in intelligent purchasing, compliance and inventory management. JAGGAER RMM users can initiate an anonymous CiteAb session to search for bioreagents within our search engine, and then return seamlessly to JAGGAER RMM to source and purchase the selected products through their purchasing infrastructure and preferred suppliers. The integrated solution in RMM automatically associates CiteAb data with purchased products for enhanced inventory search, and adds new storage and processing features specifically for biologists. The result: the first complete capability that fits the way researchers work.

By partnering together, JAGGAER saved the many years and considerable investment involved in collecting bioreagent data and building a search engine themselves, whilst maximising their valuable expertise in material management and acquisition to provide a new solution for their customers, at the right time.
