A brand new award for 2024, the Digital Science Tool Award celebrates those platforms and digital resources helping scientists around the world.
As a search engine created to help researchers, and having partnered with some fantastic, innovative platforms ourselves to provide better services for scientists, we wanted to hear more about tools that are out there supporting researchers.
Congratulations to Thermo Fisher Scientific, winners in this category with their Stain iT tool!
This tool is a novel way for cellular imaging scientists to visualise staining and select the most suitable reagents for their work. By enabling the creation of a digital mockup of cell structure and organelle staining, Stain iT allows scientists to change colour options, select instruments, see the spectrum of the dye, choose different reagents and then purchase the best products for their experiment.
The potential of this tool to save time and help scientists choose the products and experimental setup that will give them optimal results in the lab impressed, so congratulations once again to Thermo Fisher Scientific!
