One of the most accepted and trusted validation processes for antibody specificity is knockout validation, a robust technique to confirm specificity by testing the antibody of interest in a knockout cell line or tissue that does not express the target protein.

Our judges gave this award to Abcam based on our full CiteAb antibody data listings, highlighting the company as having carried out the most Knockout Validations for its antibodies.
